About Amelia

I am a creative and friendly caregiver with a passion for fostering children's growth and development looking for about 30-40 hours a week. With over a decade in childcare, I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I believe that communication is key, so I make sure to keep parents updated on their child's day, both verbally at pickup and through their preferred communication method. I love playing outdoor sports and physical games with children, and I am always looking for new and fun ways to engage them. I am also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping and travel. I have completed coursework in Montessori early childhood development, as well as First Aid and CPR training and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington.
