About Amelia

Hello! I just graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Humanities and Spanish, and am living at home in Seattle for the summer before I head to grad school in San Diego. I spent a year and a half doing service in Guatemala, so I am fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. I worked in a school in Provo, UT as a writing tutor over the last year, and and I am currently working as a tutor for writing, Spanish, art history, and humanities classes at BYU. Additionally, I have worked as a teaching assistant for various courses at BYU for the last two years. I love teaching, and have developed patience and communication skills from my experience both as a tutor and as a teaching assistant. I have also worked on and off as a babysitter and nanny since I was 13. I have cared for children from ages 2 to 12, and I am a loving, fun, and attentive childcare provider. I would be happy to provide childcare, tutoring, or both for you and your family!
