About Amelia

I am a Seattle native living in San Diego! I just graduated from a master's program at UC San Diego and I got married this spring--it's been a big year so far, and I'm looking forward to new opportunities! I love learning, baking, and exploring southern California. I have been babysitting since I was 13, and spent two summers nannying for a family with three young children. I have also provided full-time care for a few weekends for two children while their parents were out of town, and regularly care for other families with small infants, toddlers, and older children. In addition to childcare experience, I regularly dog-sit and am happy to take care of pets as well as kids! I am fluent in Spanish and hold an MA in Latin American Studies and a BA in Spanish and Interdisciplinary Humanities. I also have experience tutoring, so if you want your kids to receive additional education or language immersion during the summer, I'm your girl! I am reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, and fun!
