Hello! My name is Amelia, I am 28 years old and local to Portland. I work full time as a Special Education Teacher for PPS and have worked in the education field for 6 years. Working with children is a passion of mine! When I am not in my classroom with my students I'm thinking of ideas to bring to the classroom to support them or fun activities. I love showing kids nature/the outdoors, going on walks or bike rides, playing games, and will always get to know them and their interests. I am certified in CPR and First Aid (child and infant) and am quick thinking in emergency situations, have my own transportation, and current insurance.

Amelia is wonderful! My husband and I were able to have time to snowboard together on our recent mountain vacation. It was good to know our two boys (4 and 2) were in great hands so that we could have a great time and enjoy ourselves. I loved knowing that they were having fun, playing outside as well as inside, and were getting personalized attention. She was punctual, flexible, a great communicator, and just such a sweet genuine person. My kids loved her and were so sad to realize she couldn't come home with us. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic sitter.
