I have been in the business of childcare for over 30 years. I got my start by being a doula when I was 26, and I fell in love with babies ever since. I have raised four children of my own on top of nurturing and caring for more than a 100 plus infants and toddlers. Throughout my years, I have gained an immense amount of experience in understanding children, and that has provided me with the opportunity to run a successful business for over 30 years. With that said, I am looking to transition into being a personal nanny for a household of up to two to three infants or toddlers. I am interested in providing more one on one care to a family unit as a whole via imparting knowledge to parents on how to care for their children to caring for and nurturing the child and or children.

Our daughter stayed with Rose in Rose's in-home daycare from the time she was 4 months old until she was 4. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Most importantly, Rose was never just a sitter or a caregiver. She worked with the kids (and families!) to ensure they were developmentally on track and that they were challenged with new opportunities to learn and grow. She made sure they had plenty of time outside and kept them active and engaged. She was also great at reading and introducing age-appropriate art and music activities. My daughter adored Ms. Rose and still goes back to visit her seven years later. In the four+ years we knew Ms. Rose, I never heard her raise her voice with the children or even seem frustrated. Even on the most challenging days, she was calm, kind and patient, always positive and supportive of the kids. I feel that we were very lucky to find Ms Rose, and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a highly qualified child care professional.
