About Amelia

Hello! My name is Amelia (she/her). A bit about me: I am 25 years old, and live in Brooklyn! I have been working in childcare since I was in 14, babysitting for neighbors, and connecting with family's through , and word of mouth. I worked for 2 years as a YMCA lifeguard and children's swim instructor. Following 2020, 1 completed a full-spectrum doula course, and practiced as a postpartum doula. Through babysitting and swim instruction, I have worked with kids of many ages, but primarily elementary and middle school, ages 6-13. I would describe my care style as kindhearted, empathetic, and creative! I love to spend time with kids doing crafts, going to children's museums, and going on tun adventures outdoors. I would be happy to run errands and do other household tasks. I love to cook and have professional experience doing so, I would be thrilled to cook for your kids or meal prep for your family!
