About Ameerah

Hello! My name is Ameerah and i'm a sophomore Philosophy major at Howard University with aspirations of going to law school. I'm 19 years of age and I have a few hobbies that include: reading, journaling, painting and crafting. During high-school I have volunteered and worked with children by working as a camp counselor, camp volunteer, and camp mentor. My job roles have consisted of supervising children ages 5-15 during lunch, recess, down time activities and field trips. Some of my responsibilities included serving food, leading recess activities such as kick ball and field games, doing arts and crafts lessons, and making sure the smaller children took their evening naps. To further support my experience, I grew up in a large family household and very often babysat my sibling and younger cousins for family that was always busy or had to work long strenuous hours.
