About Amber

I am Amber! I'm a Charlotte native, a daughter, older sister, and Fiancé. Being an older sister set me up to be a person who leads by example, in my everyday life. Then my first job ever being a camp consoler at the Harris YMCA. Learning how to be the gateway between children being with parents all day to now being with a class of 20 and having a teacher daily. Though sometimes the transition was hard, it was here I fell in love with child care. Working between summer camp and afterschool, I was promoted to a leadership role where I was responsible for creating the weekly curriculum for the students 6 years old and under. I learned great experience with not only educational learning, ABCs, and 123s, but social skills like sharing, manners, and cleaning up after them selves. I took these into my nannying journey with 3 different families, where I fell in love with personal relationship I was able grow not only with the child but with being a helping hand to the family.
