My name is Amber Dragg and for the past eight years I have been consistently employed as a full-time teacher in the PreK-4 and Kindergarten space. Prior to beginning my teaching career I was a nanny and babysitter. All of my professional life has been spent in the childcare space, and I truly consider it to be my vocation. My husband recently accepted a wonderful job opportunity that relocated us from San Antonio to Houston a few weeks ago. I am looking for a nanny position to devote my energy, time and expertise of child development within a family. I am a certified teacher (prek3-3rd grade) in Louisiana and Texas. My academic background and varied teaching experiences have taught me the value of supporting children holistically. Taking care to develop them academically, socially, and emotionally. Amber not only cares for my son (who adores her), She also works for me at Lusher Elementary in our after school program teaching Art and Music to grades k-5. The children LOVE Amber. With this experience under her belt, she also creates art, does lots of imaginary play, reading and writing with my son at home. She begins playtime with him from the moment she walks in the door to the moment we get back. He asks me weekly when he will be seeing Amber. She is reliable, always on time, never cancels unless it is an emergency, and is extremely flexible. You are getting the best of the best with Amber.
