My name is Amber Dragg and for the past eight years I have been consistently employed as a full-time teacher in the PreK-4 and Kindergarten space. My husband accepted a wonderful job opportunity in August of 2024, that relocated us from San Antonio to Houston. I am currently pregnant with our first child, a baby boy! I am due in March and am going to stay home with him rather than return to the classroom. I am looking to care for another child come August of 2025 in my home while I say home with my baby. I have worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 8 years, and am a certified teacher (prek3-3rd grade) in Louisiana and Texas. My academic background in child development, and varied teaching experiences have taught me the value of supporting children holistically. Taking care to develop them academically, socially, and emotionally. I am professional, conscientious, trustworthy and warm and would love to be a reliable child care for another family near Kingwood!

Amber not only cares for my son (who adores her), She also works for me at Lusher Elementary in our after school program teaching Art and Music to grades k-5. The children LOVE Amber. With this experience under her belt, she also creates art, does lots of imaginary play, reading and writing with my son at home. She begins playtime with him from the moment she walks in the door to the moment we get back. He asks me weekly when he will be seeing Amber. She is reliable, always on time, never cancels unless it is an emergency, and is extremely flexible. You are getting the best of the best with Amber.
