About Amber

I am a Freshman at NDSU studying Human Development and Family Sciences and Physical Education! I have over five years of childcare experience, and I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. I love to connect with children and build trusting relationships. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to provide regular updates about their child's day and address any concerns that arise. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and maintaining a safe and structured environment for children. My approach to childcare involves a mix of outdoor activities, board games, puzzles, and educational games that stimulate learning, etc. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children and have experience with various age groups, as well as lots of experience with children with disabilities. I've taken early child development coursework and look forward to opportunities that enhance my skills and knowledge!
