About Amber

I have been an English Second Language teacher for Chinese students (online), a substitute teacher preK-12th grade, a long term substitute teacher 7th grade math, and HS teacher Biology & Health Science. I also am a Certified Veterinary Technician. I'd describe my personality as Fun, Compassionate, Friendly. I like tutoring because it's a way to directly support a student and watch them succeed! I just started tutoring with Care. com, but have tutored many students in classroom settings. In my spare time, I like to fish (I'm part of a bass tournament group), hunt (deer & turkey), sew (cross stitch, needlepoint, quilt), cook! I also love traveling! I've been to many countries around the world including: Iceland, Germany, Fiji, Argentina, Mexico, Belize, Botswana, South Africa. I love supporting others! It's the reason why my two main jobs as an adult have been working to help humans and people! My skills include math, science, english.
