About Amber

Hi! I'm Amber. I'm a mom of 2 older kids; a junior boy in HS and a sophomore daughter double majoring at Virginia Tech. Both of my kids are straight A, high achieving students, kind, respectful and responsible young adults. After beating cancer this past summer, I decided to walk away from my corporate career to focus on health and holistic healing, which I'm incredibly passionate about. I was always highly involved in my kids' schools prior to corporate and believe in setting clear expectations. I am fun, but firm. My style is treating kids like young adults with the autonomy to make choices on their own, all while helping to guide them toward the right one. I believe every moment is an opportunity to teach a child in an engaging playful age-appropriate way. My other great passion in life is cooking healthy meals. I'd love to find a family that is looking for meal prep a few days a week as a supplemental role. If this sounds like your family, I'd love to meet you.
