About Amber

I am currently employed full-time at Cayuga Medical and have held this position for close to two years now. My most recent position as a nanny was a wonderful experience working with a newborn, for a duration of just over 1 year, per our contract. A bit before my most recent nanny gig, I was lucky to spend four years with another family, just outside of Ithaca. When I began working with them, I was caring for one child that had just turned 1-year and about a year later, came the second little one. They are now ages 7 and 9. It's a blessing to have spent so many years with this family. I was also recently employed as a substitute teacher at Montessori School in Ithaca NY and learned a lot about childhood development and the importance of self-directed activity and exploration.
