About Amber

I am in education. I do not have an professional experience in nursing or caring for seniors. I do have personal experience. I have taken care of two grandmothers with Dementia. I would love to help by preparing meals, running errands, cleaning up around the house, reading to a senior or just keeping someone company and checking in when needed. I'd describe my personality as a natural caregiver, humorous, and goal oriented. I like caring for seniors because it gives me happiness. I enjoyed taking care of my grandparents and I miss them very much. I don't like the thought of anyone being alone, especially a senior. I started caring for seniors when I was in grade school. I would visit seniors to read to them, sometimes I cooked a meal or cleaned up for them, and helped to remind them of medication. In high school I regularly volunteered at the nursing home.
