I've known from a very young age how rewarding caring for the elderly can be. My mother worked as a nurse for over 30 years and most of what I've learned - patience, discipline, kindness, empathy - came from watching her work. It wasn't until my grandmother and grandfather moved in that I really found my passion for helping others. I was their personal caregiver until their passing. I believe it isn't only important, it's imperative, to relate and empathize with people in need. I've worked as a caregiver for the past 8 years and can provide references.
