About Amber

My name is Amber and I am a 34-year-old woman who loves being around kids of all ages. I started babysitting when I was 12 and I knew then that I would have a career working with children. In 2010 I was a nanny of four children, ages 8-15. I worked with that family for two years until I got accepted to Texas State in San Marcos. I have worked for a summer school program called Quest Academy of Austin it's a program for special needs kids. I was a teacher aide and I loved every minute working with each kid, and they each hold a piece of my heart still till this day. From 2015 to 2019 I worked for RRISD as a paraprofessional in the special education unit at an elementary school. My most recent job I was a one on one aide for a kid who had autism, I assisted her at her Mother's Day out program. I know that I will bring a positive experience, organization skills, good communication, and tons of fun to the next family I work with. I look forward to hearing from you.
