About Amber

Hello! My name is Amber, I have been babysitting since I was 15 and watching my mother teach since I can remember. I spent much of my childhood volunteering in special needs and general ed classroom settings. The summer of 2017 I was a nanny for a family of 5 ages 8-15. During my undergrad I taught children's art classes, curating lesson plans for elementary students with a range of specific needs. I have experience running errands, cooking meals, taking children to swim, play dates etc. as well as assisting with school work. I believe in the importance of positivity, understanding, and fun when it comes to caring for any child. I also believe the environment around the child is incredibly important and would love to help your family any way I can!
