Hello my name is Ambar, as someone who was a member of the best buddies program throughout my highschool career I have learned how to accommodate from toddlers to teens with different diagnosis. In the best buddies program I learned that individuals with certain diagnosis need individual attention to get the most progress or positive out come . I dealt with many diagnosis and I assisted by helping with school work , developing proper social skills and also how to do basic house chores / life skills . I have learned that learning does not necessarily have to come in the traditional homework or classroom setting , anything can be a learning experience. From teaching basic things such as picking up , teaching motor skills by doing fun arts and crafts , creating fun games that are cognitively stimulating. Each child or teen no matter if they have a diagnosis or not need unconditional love and attention to blossom and I would be more than happy to be that for your child or teen .
