About Amaya

I would describe my personality as compassionate, ambitious and calm. Early in high school I began volunteer work, hosting bingo and art nights for elders at a non profit organization. I also prepped and delivered food boxes for food drives. Currently I work as a nursing assistant making this year 4 of senior care involvement however I gratefully spent most of my childhood tending to my grandparents healthcare needs. One thing you should know about me is I am very adaptable and understanding so I also value timely transparent communication. I'm also very detail oriented so no detail is too small or unimportant when it comes to patient care. I enjoy learning about the clients I will be caring for! My skills include the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently as well as commitment to quality care and safety.
