Hello Everyone! My name is Amaya and I am a 22-year-old CNA. I have been a caregiver since I was 18 years old, and I have just made the jump to CNA this year. I primarily worked in home health prior to earning my QMAP license in January 2024, when I began working in assisted living. I am comfortable with assisting with ADLs, toileting, changing bed bound residents, catheter care, cleaning, hoyer lifts, disabled individuals, and many other aspects of caring for senior individuals. I lost my grandfather in July of this year and I truly admired the team that cared for him in the months after his stroke. I strive to provide care in a compassionate and respectful manner.
