About Amaya

Hello! I've been passionate about caring for kids for as long as I can remember. I started babysitting when I was a child myself and quickly realized how rewarding it is to be a part of a child's growth and development. Growing up, I assisted my mom-who's a therapist-in caring for special needs children during home visits. This experience taught me a lot about patience, empathy, and the unique ways children express themselves. I've also been the go-to babysitter for my family's friends, and I frequently watch my siblings, (age 6, 12, and 14). It's been amazing to see them grow up, and I love being part of their lives. For the first 2 years of my college education, I worked as a nanny for my mom's boss, where I took care of two kids while balancing my online school. This role helped me hone my skills in managing schedules, planning activities, and ensuring a fun and safe environment. I'm excited to bring my experience and passion for childcare to your family!
