About Amaya

I am a recent graduate from SFSU and a newly registered nurse with a strong passion for childcare and early childhood development. My experience includes working as a student assistant at the University of Oregon's Child Development Center, where I cared for children aged 1 month to 5 years, fostering their developmental growth through engaging activities and play. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led a nanny share pod for 5 children aged 6 to 9, designing fun and educational experiences such as hiking, cooking, crafting, and reading, while tailoring activities to each child's unique interests. Upon returning to the Bay Area, I worked as a mother's helper, supporting a 9-month-old with sleep training and developmental activities, and assisting a 3-year-old with potty training, crafts, and outdoor adventures.
