Mom of 2 (2. 5-year-old boy and 5-month-old girl) just looking to make some extra cash and help out any parents that might want or need a date night / extra help in general. Can watch kiddo/s at your house. When babysitting, I can bring my kiddos with me if it makes sense and is age appropriate for additional social play opportunities. As I mentioned, I'm currently a mom of 2 Littles, but I also have 15+ years of experience working with children of all ages (infants-teens), including children and adults with disabilities. My education consists of a background in healthcare. A bonus is being able to help parents out and hopefully making friendships and building our community. Feel free to message me about your needs and any questions you may have for me. I'm an open book! Currently, open to some weeknights and weekend opportunities.

Amaris has worked with our teenage son for approximately three years. Our son has special needs including many features of autism. Due to the nature of his disability, which also includes past history of seizures and a tendency to wander or elope from settings, he has required close supervision. This has not deterred Amaris from taking him many places in order to keep him connected to the community including working with him on community based skills. Her enthusiasm and high energy have been a plus as she is thinking ahead and planning for different outings they can experience together. Also, our son has required visual schedules to help him navigate his day which she has created and used successfully. There have been behaviors and challenges with our son which Amaris addresses with grace, humor, tenacity, and encouragement. She utilizes behavior interventions which have been successful and she has come up with creative ways to make a challenging situation better. Amaris takes suggestions, ideas, and direction well and it is her desire to follow through so that her work with our son can be successful. We think of Amaris with high regard and believe she would be an asset to any family for whom she will work.
