About Amaris

I have been an aide since December of '23 , my first position January '24. I have experience in Long Term Care and Rehabilitation. I've worked in a total of 12 facilities because I am a Travel CNA. I've gained a wide range of experience quickly due to this and I've traveled to Greenport and as far as Westchester. I have experience with dementia patients, hospice, and rehab. I can perform tasks such as , feeding , bathing , toileting , assisting with activities of daily living and so on. I'd describe myself as helpful , a team player and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I feel like I'm making a difference. There's no better feeling than knowing you're helping people that can no longer help themselves. I'm looking for a job that I can connect with my residents and provide them with the best care. I started caring for seniors when my grandmother encouraged me to become a nurse. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my 4 year old son.
