Hello! My name is Amarantha, but you can call me Mara. I graduated from Texas State University in 2021 where I majored in psychology and minored in criminal justice. Now, I am attending Pepperdine University to obtain my masters in clinical psychology. I am a registered behavior technician (RBT) who provides ABA therapy in a direct 1 on 1 care setting with children who have autism. I am kind hearted, energetic and I love to drive around town chasing the sunset. I am comfortable doing tutoring (elementary level math/reading/writing and Psychology at any level), babysitting services (I am experienced in potty training and diaper changes), and pet-sitting. Amarantha started working with us in the Spring 2023 during a very busy time for me and my husband. She was able to jump into our routine and bonded with my kids immediately. She was able to go through their school lessons with little help from me which was a huge blessing. She took initiative to find new and fun things to support what my kids were learning and always had a great attitude. My kids absolutely love her and look forward to their time with her each week. Amarantha has helped us as a family take over some of the schoolwork so I can focus on working. I was nervous to bring someone into our family, but I am so glad I did. I honestly could not have survived the past 6 months without her.
