What I'm Looking For: I'm open to one-time and recurring commitments ideally in the late afternoons/evenings and for no longer than 4hrs/day. I have my own transportation and enjoy driving, but a family car must be provided if driving during working hours is a requirement. Max 2 children, toddler age or older. Non-religious employers preferred. Childcare History: I worked with the R family for about 8 years, from the time their son was a small child until he was a young teenager. From 2015 to 2016, I worked as a contracted Au Pair in Fontainbleau, France, where I lived for the duration of the year, taking care of three girls (6, 9, and 12) and a large estate (with the best dog in the world at my side). I was responsible for light housekeeping, reading and tutoring them in English, light meal prep, etc. A couple years later, I took care of 2 local girls ages 1 and 3 part-time for about 2 years.

Amara has been our babysitter for almost 2 years and we love her like family! She was pretty much full time with us until very recently and helped keep our family sane during a period of long work hours for my husband and me. I'm taking a break from work now so I don't need as much help but we'll definitely be having her help for date nights and etc. The kids adore her and even our daycare teachers commented how great she is with my girls (almost 5 and 3). Amara even got my girls to eat vegetables (simply amazing) and I really like that she's loving yet firm with the them. She's also mature beyond her years and a really wonderful young woman with brains (thank goodness!) and heart.
