About Amara

Hi, there! My name is Amara. This is my second profile on Care. com because I love to work with children and pets. I currently have 4 cats and a dog. One of my cats has three legs and our dog is very old, so he has seizures and back problems, but that won't stop either of them from playing! I'm new to animal sitting, so I don't have a bunch of experience, but I will love your 'kids'!! I also have frequent experience with childcare, mainly from age 1 to kindergarten. I used to watch kids at Sunday school and have volunteered at a couple summer camps over the past years! I studied Inclusive Early Childhood at BGSU for a year, then transferred back home and switched majors to Social Work, but still have a concentration in children. I hope to change the life of a child or animal during my career. (I'm currently working part time and going to school full time, but I only have one week of classes left, and my work hours are going to be getting cut because of the holiday.
