About Amanda

I've been a childcare provider for the past nine years because I'm passionate about helping children grow and develop. I believe in making a difference in their lives by fostering their creativity, imagination, and love for learning. I'm known for being patient, calm, and friendly. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise, either verbally at pick-up or by following their preferred communication method. I love playing all types of games with children, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles, as well as educational games that promote learning. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR, and I've taken coursework on Early Child Development. I'm also experienced in caring for children with special needs. Beyond childcare, I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, and supervising children while they swim.
