I'd describe my personality as nurturing, friendly, and empathetic. I like caring for people with special needs because I found myself drawn to the field as a teen and pursued my degree and teaching certificate to teach kids with special needs. I've since had a son who has Autism and he's taught me not only about him, but also about myself. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling and flexible. I started caring for people with special needs about 12 years ago when I entered the cognitive impairment program at Northern Michigan University. In my spare time, I like to play games and read books with my kids. I also love hiking, cooking, and listening to music. One thing you should know about me is I am kind-hearted and open-minded. My skills include problem-solving, tutoring, adaptability.
