Hi! My name is Amanda, and I'm 34 years old. I have a deep passion for caring for children. I have over five years of part-time nannying experience in New York, gained several years ago. I have a friendly and calm demeanor, possibly a reflection of my California upbringing. I'm reliable, intuitive, and skilled in time management. I value communication and creativity, and I enjoy encouraging healthy communication, emotional expression, curiosity, and an active lifestyle in the children I care for. In addition to childcare, I'm comfortable with light housekeeping and clean-up related to the kids. While I may not be a chef, I can prepare healthy meals and afterschool snacks. I also love animals and have my own dog! In my free time, I enjoy museums, galleries, films, live music, theater, and city parks. I also practice pilates, horseback riding, surfing, and photography.
