About Amanda

Hi there my name is Amanda. I am an energetic and creative 29-year-old. I started out in nursing at Chico State, but fell into childcare 8 years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group is toddlers and elementary, however I have experience in all ages. I'm looking for overnight/ evenings/ special occasions as I work for the school district as a behavioral therapist and am available after 3 p.m. everyday and weekends. My rates start at $25/hour for one child. I have worked with three families, one for two years and the others for 18 months each. I'm CPR certified, have a clean and insured car, and would be able to drop/ pickup from school as needed. My focus is giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm, but kind and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to.
