About Amanda

I'm a nurturing and experienced childcare provider with a decade of experience in caring for children of all ages. My passion lies in fostering children's growth and development, and I'm dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. I believe in fostering creativity and imagination in children. Effective communication with parents is essential, so I provide written daily reports and encourage verbal communication during pickup. I also respect the parents' preferred communication method. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and have experience caring for up to four children simultaneously. My educational background includes a B. S. in Forensic Psychology, and licensure as a child welfare social worker. I am proficient in both English and American Sign Language (ASL). In addition to being a skilled caregiver, I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning.
