I'd describe my personality as practical, sensible and understanding. I like caring for seniors because as a Senior Caregiver, I get to deliver standards of care that I would expect my loved one's to receive. I started caring for seniors when I was a teenager caring for my grandmother with dementia who moved in with my mother and I. It gave me valuable insights into the needs of the elderly and instilled in me a strong sense of empathy and patience. One thing you should know about me is I have empathy, patience, and adaptability. I have a passion in being a caregiver, it's not just a job to me. My skills include communication skills, to be thorough and pay attention to detail. Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to understand people's reactions, good or bad.
