About Amanda

I have spent many years within large centers and held many titles. I've been a teacher, team lead, Assistant Director, and even Director. I love the one on one with the children, them being my main focus. That is why I have chosen to step away from the center scene and focus on individual care. My family and I recently moved to Sneads Ferry from Maryland for a job opportunity that my husband obtained. I have truly loved this place for many years and we are so happy to be official residents! I currently hold an AA in Sociology, BS in Psychology, and am working towards my MS in Psychology within Child/Adolescent Development. I am Infant/Toddler, Preschool, and School Age certified and First Aid/CPR trained. I have certifications in Breastfeeding, ADA, and Basic Health & Safety. I am also Center Director/Administrator Certified. In my spare time, I like to read, go for walks on the beach, and swim.
