About Amanda

I have spent many years within large childcare centers and have held many titles. I started out as a twos teacher in 2016 and climbed the ladder throughout. During my time, I worked with all age groups between 6 weeks and 12 years and became a team lead of both preschool and infants (babies is where my heart truly lies!). I eventually went on to become Assistant Director of the center, and then Acting Director. I have many certifications including: 45 Hours in Infant/Toddlers, 45 Hours in Preschool, 45 Hour in School Age, and 45 Hours in Director & Administrator Training. I am ADA Trained, Breastfeeding Trained, Basic Health and Safety Certified, and First Aid/CPR Certified. I also hold an AA in Sociology/Social Work, a BS in Psychology, and am currently working towards my MS in Psychology within Child and Adolescent Development. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and our puppy, Tucker, by going on walks, going to the beach and swimming.
