I have experience working with the special needs population. I Was a one on one caregiver. I was a residential summer camp counselor for 6 years. A few summers ago I was the assistant director of that program. I was a nanny for a family with two young kids with special needs. I am now a teachers assistant in a special needs classroom in the school system. I have been working in the school system for 10 years. I have experience working with persons of all ages and varying disabilities (Severe/Profound Intellectual Disabilities to mild learning disabilities) including Epilepsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Asthma, Developmentally Challenged, Diabetes, Hearing Impaired, Physically Challenged, and those with a visual Impairment.
