About Amanda

My name is Amanda. Caregiving is something that I love to do. I am a senior Nursing Assistant (CNA), with 11 years of experience. I have worked in a variety of capacities for seniors in different stages of their life, from early senior years to hospice care. My experience includes assisting elderly patients with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Cancer, etc, as well as simply old age. I enjoy handling doctor appointment / errands with the seniors. My caregiving duties have included assistance with dispensing medicine, bathing and dressing, therapy-directed exercises, meal prep, feeding, etc. Activities have included outside walks, games, cards, art, etc. Trips to doctor appointments and errands are carried out as well. I have always had a tremendous amount of respect for the elderly. I feel fortunate to have found opportunities to share that respect with them.
