Hello parents! I have been caring for children for the last 13 years. For the last 6 years I've been living in Westchester County, NY, and I'm excited to move to Minneapolis at the end of January! I have done everything from occasional date night babysitting to being a full time live-in nanny, watching up to three children at a time, ranging in age from 1 month to 15 years. I have experience with twins and children with special needs (autism and ADHD). I'm passionate about caring for children; I love getting to know the kids I work with and helping them grow into vibrant individuals! A little about me: growing up, I loved to do crafts; I played 3 instruments; played soccer and softball; and rigorously studied classical ballet for 10 years. I also grew up with pets in the house so I will be comfortable with any furry members of your family! In my free time, I like crocheting and rock climbing. I have strong references and a car. Mandy is a reliable, personable, flexible and patient caregiver. Our 3 small children warmed right up to her and she immediately settled into the flow of our family’s dynamics. From art projects, reading stories, to trips to the park, she is also open to organizing tasks and house projects if she has down time or a child is napping. She asks great, insightful questions. Her attuned, responsible and artistic spirit is such a positive force for our family and we are so grateful we found Mandy!
