Hello parents! I have been caring for children for the last 13 years. For the last 6 years I've been living in Westchester County, NY, and I'm excited to move to Minneapolis at the end of January! I have done everything from occasional date night babysitting to being a full time live-in nanny, watching up to three children at a time, ranging in age from 1 month to 15 years. I have experience with twins and children with special needs (autism and ADHD). I'm passionate about caring for children; I love getting to know the kids I work with and helping them grow into vibrant individuals! A little about me: growing up, I loved to do crafts; I played 3 instruments; played soccer and softball; and rigorously studied classical ballet for 10 years. I also grew up with pets in the house so I will be comfortable with any furry members of your family! In my free time, I like crocheting and rock climbing. I have strong references and a car. I look forward to getting to know your family!

Mandy worked for my family for a year. At the time, my children were 3 and 1. She was exceptional and we have kept in touch with her ever since. She is unusually caring and loving. I had the feeling that Mandy truly loved my children, and they certainly loved her. Mandy is creative and would take my children out to do unusual, fun activities instead of simply going to the park. They explored food co-ops, made tie-dye shirts, created art, and made the most of our local community. Mandy is wonderful at following direction and handling parental feedback well. She drives well and I felt safe with my children in her car. I loved having her in my home and felt comfortable hiring her when she was in town later and I had a newborn baby (and still the other 2!). I would have continued to employ her, but she moved!
