Amanda was an amazing Nanny and addition to our family for two years. When I first hired her, I thought I was just getting essentially a babysitter but my two kids (10 months and 3 years old ) got a second mother when I couldn't be around. I can never express enough how much her help meant to me. She would get them ready in the mornings, give them breakfast (usually we discussed meals in advance and she was very accommodating), take them on adventures or play dates, give them lunch and snacks, if I needed her to do a load of laundry occasionally she would handle it. She always cleaned the dishes she used for the kids, even without me asking. She was always laughing and playing with them. My three year old, L., was always eager for her to come over and read or play with them. She was always excited to have her friend Amanda come over and would talk about the fun times they shared long after she left. She bonded with them both and if we hadn't moved, we never would have let her go!
