About Amanda

Singing, dancing, crafts, games: Let's have fun and learn at the same time! I have experience with and feel confident caring for children of all ages, from newborns to fifth graders. Starting with babysitting as a young teenager, I have worked with kids for a long time, volunteering in my church's nursery, working at after school care programs and most recently as a special needs nanny. Safety is my top priority, followed closely by fun and education. I love making kids laugh with silly voices when I read storybooks. I believe in allowing every child's imagination and creativity to flourish by providing them with both structured activity and child led play. I am currently homeschooling my 3-year-old and hope to bring her along with me, she is a very sweet and sensitive child. Thank you for your consideration!
