About Amanda

I'm currently a stay-at-home-mom of two, a six and 4-year-old. When the kids are not in school we enjoy crafting, reading, playing outside, and exploring out and about (playgrounds, museums, etc). My general approach to children is to meet them where they're at developmentally, and tailor to each individual child's needs to best support their health and development (and overall wellbeing). Of course all of this would ultimately depend on the parent's direction and what they think is best for their child. I am happy to do meal prep, housework, and other errands while watching children, as long as time and circumstances permit. My education background is in biology. Prior to staying home with my children I worked in various state government roles, the longest one being in the food regulatory realm.
