Hi there! My name is Amanda. I am 38 years old. I have been in childcare since I was 15, working in my mother's in-home daycare, babysitting and doing part-time and full-time nanny jobs. I am a very active, patient and loving person. I was raised with strong family values that I think play a very important roll in the way that I nanny. I am definitely someone who will run around outside with the kids, kicking the soccer ball around, and playing tag. My family would always say that I was going to be a teacher or own a daycare, but I really love the one on one attention I can give by being a nanny for one family. I think healthy living is very important, so I promise to make sure your child(ren) get healthy snacks and meals and lots of active play time, inside and outside.

Amanda began nannying for my baby when my daughter was 10 weeks old. Amanda was wonderful with my daughter, taking care of all of her needs as well as assisting me with light housework. She stuck to my child's schedule, and as the baby got older, was great about interacting with little games and things that encouraged my daughter's skills. My baby LOVED Amanda, breaking into smiles any time she'd see her. Amanda is very caring, loving, and nurturing. She interacted with my child at an age-appropriate level and I was always (and still am when she babysits) very comfortable that my child is in good hands with Amanda. The only reason she's no longer my nanny is I am now staying at home full-time with my child. Feel free to contact me if you need any further information!
