About Amanda

I'm a retired public school teacher with over 28 years of experience fostering children's growth and development. My passion for nurturing young minds has led me to complete 2 graduate degrees and pursue early childhood development coursework. Over the past six years, I've had the privilege of caring for children aged 0 to 10, and I'm comfortable taking care of up to two children at a time. My patient, calm, and creative nature allows me to connect with children effortlessly, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method of communication to keep them updated about their child's day and address any issues that may arise. To ensure the children's well-being, I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. To keep the children engaged and entertained, I enjoy playing various games with them, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning.
