About Amanda

Finding someone you can trust to take care of your most precious gift in life can be arduous; as a mother of four, I completely understand! With over 20 years experience of caring for and teaching children of all ages, you can be confident in my abilities to be a safe person your child can grow with over the years. My bachelor's degree is in elementary education and I've worked in daycares, run after school programs, and led summer camps with the YMCA. Plus, being a mother myself gives me a unique perspective and life experience to add to my professional background. I believe children are whole humans that should be respected as such. We work on emotional intelligence and regulation, discuss options, and work together to create a fun and respectful environment for everyone. Child development is one of my special interests so I am constantly learning and growing. I'm also neurodivergent and am fully capable of working with neurodivergent children/families.
