About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda and I have 3 years of child care experience. I started out in a daycare as a teacher assistant working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, following RI child to staff ratios. At the beginning of 2023 I was promoted to a lead preschool position, working with 7 children ages 3 and 4. I left the daycare in August '23 and became a nanny for a great family with 2 young kids. I moved to Connecticut this summer, so unfortunately I had to leave my nanny family. I spent a few years studying early childhood education as well, but ultimately realized I did not want to be a teacher and did not complete my degree. Right now, I am working full time but am looking to get back into nannying. If I were to leave my fulltime job I would have open availability. I have been CPR and first aid certified in the past, both are likely due for renewal. My rates start at $25/hour based on experience. Please reach out if you think we could be a good fit!
