Hello, My name is Amanda. I enjoy caring for Seniors and have experience with Alzheimer's and dementia. I can assist with all ADLs (total care), meal prep and feeding, light housekeeping, and overall companionship. I am available for weekends and some evenings from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. A little more about me; I have worked in long-term care centers and found myself drawn to Seniors, especially those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. I tend to be on the quiet side, and this allows me to be more observant of my client's needs and any changes in health status. This is not to say I do not interact with them, as I very much do. Also, due to being employed in the healthcare industry, I have had State and Federal background checks, as well as state checks on the Ohio abuse registry.

Amanda does a wonderful job caring for our dad. Although he does not always respond, she still engages with him a she cares for him. She regularly creates new "recipes" so that he has variety and options in his limited diet. Amanda willingly and cheerfully accepts any new challenges that come in his daily care. She also stepped in to cover extra shifts during a recent change in caregivers, allowing us time to find just the right person for the "team".
