Amanda cared for my MIL, post surgery and disabled FIL for several weeks as live-in support for 22 hours a day. She helped them with the bathroom, personal grooming, transferring from chairs to wheelchairs and walkers. She cooked their meals and kept the apartment clean. Mostly she was a positive presence, keeping them safe and providing company when they wanted it. Despite my MIL being grumpy, Amanda kept a sunny disposition that really helped my FIL enjoy his days. I truly appreciated her maintaining a 'grace under fire' attitude with my MIL.
