I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. For the last two years, she has provided exceptional care for my parents, ages 81 and 85, as their full-time caregiver. My mother suffers from Alzheimer's, and my father, while in good health for his age, needed assistance as well. Amanda's kindness, love, and genuine caring were evident in everything she did. She went above and beyond in her duties. For my mom, she would spend hours massaging her legs and back, providing much-needed comfort. She patiently engaged my mom in conversation, even when my mom repeated the same stories or questions multiple times. Amanda never showed an ounce of frustration or irritation; she always responded with the same gentle patience and understanding as if it were the first time she'd heard it. This level of compassion is truly rare. Beyond her exceptional emotional care, Amanda handled all the practical aspects of their daily lives with diligence and professionalism. She prepared all their meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – did their laundry, assisted with bathing, and managed diaper changes. She treated my parents like family, and her dedication was truly remarkable. Even when my mom was demanding or, at times, even mean due to the progression of her Alzheimer’s, Amanda remained patient and understanding. We are heartbroken that we had to part ways with Amanda. Our parents now require 24-hour care, which necessitates their move to an assisted-living facility. This change in our circumstances is the only reason we are no longer able to employ her. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have Amanda care for their loved ones. She is a truly exceptional caregiver, and I wholeheartedly recommend her.
