About Amanda

I am a public school educator with 13 years of experience teaching special education and 6 years of experience as a school counselor. I am available to tutor elementary aged students with a variety of needs! I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and reliable. I like tutoring because I love helping children unlock their potential in areas where they might previously have struggled! I'm looking for a job with elementary aged child needing help in reading, writing and/or math. I have availability on the weekends and occasional evenings. I began a career in education in 2003. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and our two children- ages 10 and 15. One thing you should know about me is I am incredibly patient and am passionate about working with struggling students.
