About Amanda

I love working with children and seeing them grow and helping to bring out their brilliance! I have specialized early literacy training in the Orton-Gillingham method through IMSE. I have worked with students in literacy from 3 yrs old through middle school. I began working with a 3 yr old child 2-3 times per week for 6 months, and by age 4 he was reading. Before he turned 5, he was tested through the STAR Early Literacy assessment & was reading on a 1st grade level. I have also worked with k-6 students individually and in groups to improve literacy skills.
