About Amanda

Babysitter/nanny with RBT certification and early childhood and psychology education. I'd describe my personality as easygoing, fun, and personable. I like working with kids because they are so much fun. I find children's creativity inspiring. I'm looking for a job that is a good partnership between the parents and I. I started working with kids when I was 16. As soon as I got my drivers license I hit the ground running with networking and building my babysitting client list. For over 15 years I have been babysitting for friends, family, friends of friends, and church members. In my spare time, I like to play guitar, piano, and ukulele. I am also learning how to sew. One thing you should know about me is I am currently in a Bachelor's program for Psychology. Since I am in school, I may not be able to work outside our agreed upon hours. My skills include being fun but firm, helping kids study, as well as coming up with creative activities for the kids and I to do.
